The Bahrain Electromechanical Services Co. W.L.L. (“BEMCO”) is one of the leading electromechanical contractors in Bahrain, registered as a Grade 1 Contractor by many of The Kingdom’s main industrial partners and registered professionals including The Bahrain Ministry of Works and Housing, other Government ministries, various industrial sectors, real estate owners and developers, institutions, architects and consultants.
BEMCO was established in 1990 and is majority owned by The Buhindi Group; from its Head Office in the Diplomatic Area of Manama, the Company’s Board of Directors led by the Chairman, Mr. Abdulla H. Buhindi oversee an Executive Committee under the direction of Director and General Manager, Mr. Sandeep Agarwal in the successful provision and completion of turnkey Electromechanical and MEP Maintenance / Facility Management contracts for a wide range of Bahrain’s key developments.
ELECTROMECHANICAL CONTRACTS
Using an impressive array of up to date and sophisticated electromechanical services, BEMCO undertakes the installation, commissioning and maintenance of major ‘turnkey’ elements of a variety of projects – in particular, Industrial Electrification, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire-fighting, EMS and Humidification Systems; Fire Alarm and Low Voltage Security Systems; Service Stations; Water Treatment Plants.
With a focus on all types of commercial building, including hotels, hospitals, shopping / housing complexes, entertainment centers, airports, multi-story facilities and conference halls, BEMCO’s installations include Bahrain ‘landmarks’Projects such as SEEF Mall, SEEF Tower, the HIDD Power Plant (Phase 2), the AIIB Building, the Gulf Hotel Convention Centre, the Movenpick Hotel, the University of Bahrain, the US Navy Warehouses Complex and Milcom Project, the Public Health Laboratory, Shaikh Khalifa Sports City, Down Town Rotana, Art Rotana and Zawye Tower etc,
MEP MAINTENANCE AND FACILITY MANAGEMENT CONTRACTS
In addition to the supply and installation of electromechanical services, BEMCO also has an experienced and skilled maintenance team that is equipped with the latest ‘state of the art’ tools to provide quality refurbishment, repair and maintenance support for all kinds of MEP Maintenance and Facility Management Contracts.
BEMCO’s major MEP Maintenance and Facility Management clients include Bahrain World Trade Centre, Seef Mall and Seef Tower, Shaikh Khalifa Sports City, the University of Bahrain, BAPCO –( Awali Housing Compound), the Bahrain International Airport, The Amwaj Lagoon, The National Charter Monument (Sakhir), Wind Tower, BNH Headquarters, Ministry of Interior – Customs Affairs and GOP Building, Zawia Tower 1 & 2, Metropolitan Tower and the German Orthopaedic Hospital.
DUCT MANUFACTURING
For over 20 years, BEMCO has operated its own in-house Duct Manufacturing Facility from a 650 square metre factory at Sitra; the Duct Manufacturing Facility provides the air-conditioning ducts and related equipment that are used for the Company’s wide range of electromechanical projects and MEP maintenance and facility management contracts.
